Each year the Western Society of Naturalists, a scientific society with a strong focus on ecology, evolution, natural history, and marine biology, hosts a conference for members to come together to discuss developments in their fields. The 2023 annual meeting will be held in Monterey.

Several members of the Sunflower Star Laboratory will be in attendance (with free stickers if you come speak with us). Exact details of any presentations by SSL-affiliated participants will be forthcoming once registration begins and the schedule is finalized.
